About Me / Contact

I'm so glad you have visited my site!
My hope is that when you are here, you will feel welcome and inspired.

I am a wife and mom of one.
My husband and I have been married for 20+ years, and we love being together.
We met in high school, where I admired him from afar.  We ended up at the same college in Southern California, and the rest is history.
He is my best friend, and he gives me love and support beyond belief.
I always wonder how I got so lucky!

We had a long journey through infertility and failed adoption attempts, and through what can only be described as a miracle, we were blessed with our daughter, Hannah.
She brings us so much joy and pride, and we are eternally grateful for the gift we have been given.
We love seeing her blossom into a talented musician and athlete.

Our second baby is our pug, Bella.  She gets a lot more face time here because I am careful about Hannah's online presence.  Bella joined our family in 2007, and she is a quintessential pug.
Couch potato, velcro dog, bodily noises - shameless.
She is a constant source of comic relief.

We are a family who loves God, and have seen His hands at work in our family.
My faith is an important part of who I am, and in this journey of using my talents that He has given me.

We live in the beautiful Willamette Valley in Oregon, and we are surrounded by several fabulous vineyards.  We enjoy visiting wineries and tasting rooms.
It's one of our favorite activities, and we always say that Oregon is one of the most beautiful places to live.

Our neighborhood is what I describe as rural suburban, and I think we have the best of both worlds- farmland and neighbors all around us.
I smile every time I get to drive past our neighbors horses in the pasture, or see friends coming to visit us on our porch.

My love of vintage and home is from my family- both my parents and grandparents have given me a love of the old, the unique, and the hospitality that I remember when I was growing up.

I was a Fine Arts major in college,  and then graduated later with a degree in Psychology. Although my career path changed, I feel like my canvas is my home and furniture projects.
I love transforming pieces into items that others can re-love.

My favorite era for vintage pieces is the 1940's, and anything English.
My goal is to one day travel to Europe and bring home treasures to sell.

My personal style continues to evolve, and my passion for vintage grows with each new adventure and found item.
There is always a funny story when I'm out junking.
I love the excitement of finding an extraordinary piece, and then to be able to put it in a new light where others see it's beauty as well.

Thank you for your support and visit!
I hope you enjoy coming back to see what is new {or old} and feel inspired to try some of the ideas that I share here.
