I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
We had an opportunity to go spend a night up in the city and see the Nutcracker with all the girls on my husband's side.
Shopping, eating, and having fun.
We had a great time!!
Last week I finished up our Christmas mantel.
We kept a few of the same elements from last year, and switched up a few.
One thing I was very excited to add was the addition of the paper mache deer.
I spray painted them white, and added a few greens to the mantel from our Christmas tree trimmings.
The jars of sheet music rolls are something I've had here since our fall mantel. I liked it still, and just made it more Christmas-y.
The poinsettia is from a fundraiser from our daughter's school.
I also wrapped a couple boxes with kraft paper and some gingham ribbon .
Our stockings are something we've enjoyed for a few years now, but I am really hoping I can have some time with my sewing machine to stitch up some new ones.
A lighter, more sophisticated look.
A simple, woodland inspired mantel.
Have a wonderful week, friends!

Very pretty, Denise! I love the deer!
Denise- It all looks beautiful! I love the rolled up music. I think the stockings look nice and can probably work for one more year if you run out of time to make new ones!;>) xo Diana
It's beautiful - I love the deer too! I just made a couple stockings for a client - out of European grain sacks and I am so in love with them I need to make myself some!
