Pink Postcard house tour week- Day Three

Welcome back to day three of the house tour.

Upstairs is our master bedroom.
We recently completed a two-year-in-the-making makeover.
Did I mention I am a slow mover?
ha ha!

Welcome~

This is our vintage, beach bedroom.
Lots of light, soothing colors- a big step away from the red, traditional style we had for a long time.

Do you remember the vintage seagull print I picked up a few weeks ago?  My husband loved it so much and dropped a lot of obvious hints that it would look great in our bedroom....
so here it is!  I love it too.

We have lots of 3's going on around the house.
These three little starfish perched on the window trim is a nod to our little family.

 The collage wall.
Some vintage treasures, and some mementos from our trip to Hawaii last year.

Instead of a traditional dresser we opted for this great old cabinet.  It has shelves inside, so we store a lot of our stuff in baskets now.
I got the vintage Bahamas map on Etsy.

Our master bath is another area that's gotten some updates recently.
There's still more I'd like to do, but it's ok for now.

The empty frame is part of some artwork I'll be adding in here soon.

Our tray between the sinks holds all of the daily essentials: mouthwash in a vintage carafe, a vintage shaving mug holds the dixie cups, alarm clock to remind me how late I'm running (!),
and perfumes / colognes.

The W.C.
I added the vintage shelf awhile back for storage.  Hard to see in this shot, but we have a wire bicycle basket next to the commode for books and reading material.
;)

The shell prints were something I initially got for the bedroom when I started the makeover, but they eventually made their way in here.

We are tub people.
We missed having a tub to soak in with our last house, and we use this a lot!

Some pretty bath accessories to us to enjoy.

Next, is our kiddo's room.
I try to be sensitive to her as a person in regards to her room.  It's not a show room, it's a kid's room.
I let her be her, try and have her keep it tidy (ha) but I didn't decorate it with the intentions of it being showy.  Just what she wanted.
So that means that there are posters, collections, all things typical of a kid her age.
So I only show you glimpses of it.
:)

The rooms that she occupies are definitely more colorful than what is going on in the rest of the house, but I adore it.

Yes, she's a Bieber fan.
You can see a tiny glimpse of what I mean about collections and posters here.
It's a space she loves and is making her own.

She also has her own bathroom, but so far, I still have some input on the decor there.
I'm sure that won't last much longer, but that's ok.

This room was really hard to photograph since there is zero natural light, but I hope you get the idea.

Yep, Shabby Chic.
Hannah actually really likes it.  She's so like me in some ways, it's not even funny.
A little vintage-girly, a little rock and roll.

Behind the sinks is a wall where I have some photos I took of my two babies.
They were taken at our last house, and I just adore them.
The joy of childhood, and puppy-dom.
So cute!

Thanks so much for joining me here on day 3!
Tomorrow is the final tour day- our work and play spaces.
Have a great day.

P.S.  If you haven't noticed yet, I'm on Instagram.  You can follow me by clicking on the link up by my social media icons.  It's a more personal way for me to be friends with my blog buddies.
