petite piano

I realized recently that I haven't been keeping up with photos of items going into my room at Aunt Bee's!

I just sold a beautiful loopy, wire lazy susan, and not one photo of it. 

:(

To remedy that, I decided to show you a new item I took in yesterday.

This tiny Casspinette piano was a real find.
It was filthy, so after a good wipe down, she is ready for more years of love.  All of the keys still play, even though a couple are broken.

I loved the fact that it's black and chippy.
It has the childlike, tinny tone.
Reminds me of the Charlie Brown Christmas scene with Lucy and Schroeder...

I thought a little bouquet of fresh picked daisies in an Orangina bottle fit nicely on the side.

I also added in some vintage Hummel prints and a bunch of gorgeous vintage books- some are children's books.
Unfortunately, no photos....yet.
