my weekend at Barn House Vintage Country Marketplace

Happy Monday everyone!
Saturday was a really fun day for us- we made the hour + drive to Battleground, Washington to attend the Barn House Vintage Country Marketplace.

The Barn House boys, Joe and Jermonne, hosted an amazing day along with 30 other vendors.  I was a little starstruck seeing them walking around!
We arrived about an hour after the market had opened, and it was jam packed.  People start lining up to get in hours before the gates open at 9am.  Everyone helping with this event was very helpful and in good spirits.
On the way to the gate we decided to stop and say hi to Harpo, one of the resident llamas.

He was more than happy to take sweet grass donations.

I was so excited to meet up with one of my pink blogging buddies- Amanda from Girl in Pink!

We were so lucky to find each other right after we both arrived.  I had a great time talking with her and meeting her hubby.  She is just as sweet in person as she is on her blog.

One of the first vendors we saw as we walked through was Tarte.  I just loved her display.

There was a ton of creativity going on with the set up of vendor booths- check out Faded Prairie's covered wagon look:

I loved Garden Primitives entry into their space.  This last February, I purchased one of their rusty garden crowns.  Judging by the people around me, they are still a huge hit!

Barn House had a lovely collection of vintage Bibles. I loved all the jars with the labels.

Isn't this chair and ottoman fabulous?  The boys make their own salsa, and by the time we got to their space, there weren't many left to get!

I wish I could remember whose booth this was....the styling was just gorgeous.  The tufted leather settee with it's worn arms is amazing.

There was a trio of adorable kittens wandering around the farm- the kiddos in attendance (mine included) couldn't resist a snuggle.

Inside the main barn was the gorgeous space of Seabold Vintage.  Beautiful fabrics, lots of gorgeous antiques, and their pillows were simply fabulous.  They also made some pretty adorable little girl's dresses.

It was such a wonderful day! We all said it was one of the most fun weekends together.
I didn't get a thing!
:(
I almost picked up a vintage suitcase, but missed out on it.  Mostly I was there to get some ideas for booth displays for a show I have coming up in September.

September 16th and 17th

As you can see from the photos, there was an abundance of creativity going on!
I hope your weekend was fun filled.  Did you get to the Barn House event?  Or any other fun excursions?

My kitchen reveal will be this week.....
